Health is the general body wellness. It is the situation where the body is functioning well. This means that the body is well both mentally and physically. It is when we are able to make physical,mental and spiritual decisions for our health. when we are living healthy we are able to do many things and we are happy in general. This document will give tips to a healthy lifestyle.

The major part of our healthy journey is the food that we eat. There is a saying that says that the number one medicine is the food that we eat. There is need to prepare cooking food that is healthy for us to live healthy lives. Healthy food basically is food that has important nutrients that our bodies need to survive. Carbohydrates,proteins,vitamins and healthy fats is what constitute healthy food. We should take non processed carbohydrates and healthy proteins. Supplements should be taken because cook food rarely has enough nutrients. Vitamins, protein shakes and minerals are some of the supplements that we should take.

Another way to stay healthy is by exercising. The body must be engaged in exercise to ensure that the cells remain healthy. Exercise can be workouts in the gym or taking long walks. Doing cardio workouts is good for the heart as well as loosing weight. Weight lifting is good for muscle building. Jogging in the morning is also another way we can stay fit . Working out in general will ensure that we maintain a healthy weight which is necessary when we are trying to stay healthy.

We should stay hydrated since it is good for our health and our body is mostly made of water. It is recommended that we take 8 glasses of water per day. Sweating and urinating helps remove toxins from the body which occur as a result of water intake. By taking water we prevent constipation as well as improve our digestive system. On top of water one may take a lot of fluids such as fresh juices, green tea etc.

Maintaining a healthy mental health. This is done by reducing the levels of stress in ones life. Stress is a very unhealthy emotional disease that is caused by overthinking in many cases about problems. Stress stabilizes your emotions and feelings and it is not good for your general well being. Stress may lead to depression if not checked. If not treated on time depression being a mental disease can kill.

Maintaining a healthy body weight. To ensure a healthy life one must keep their weight healthy. BMI should be normal and it is calculated by considering the weight , height and age of a person. Diseases such as heart problems dietetics and cancers are caused by being overweight.
